Does the Ride1UP Check All The Boxes?
Let’s see what we have here
The Ride1Up – Turris e-bike is a simple yet still a very complete e-bike. Leaning more towards people that like to stick to street riding, it comes equipped with 2.4″ wide knobby tires that are great for street riding as well as some light off-road riding. The Turris has ample power with its 750w rear hub motor paired with its 48v 12.8am battery. Labeled as a Class 3 e-bike it can reach a top speed of 28mph with pedal assist but like a Class 2 e-bike it will max out at 20mph when using only the throttle. The weight capacity is listed at 300 lbs and the bike itself weighs in at a light 55 lbs. If you’re wondering about height, the Turris is built to accommodate heights from 5′ 6″ to 6′ 4″ with a stand-height of 30″ making this bike suitable for most riders. The Turris by Ride1UP is a straight forward no frills e-bike that does check all the right boxes for getting you around. It has plenty of power, is built well and will do well both for street riding and light off-road riding.

The Good
The Turris by Ride1UP is a straight forward no frills e-bike that does check all the right boxes for getting you around. It has plenty of power, is built well and will do well both for street riding and light off-road riding. At $1299 (at the time of this review) it’s priced right!
The Bad
The Turris is missing one thing, a mobile partner app. Now, the lack of a mobile app is helping to keep the price down but for this rider I really like having a partner mobile app. A little more torque would be nice too but is not a deal breaker and certainly isn’t something you’ll miss if this is your first e-bike.
