HappyRun G100 Specs
-
Styling
The G100 eBike is styled to look like a motorcycle mainly because of its gas tank looking top battery.
-
BATTERIES and Riding Range
The G100 comes with two batteries which should get you in the range of about 85 miles. This of course will depend on things like payload, riding style and terrain. The top battery is a 48v 20Ah battery and the lower is a 48v 18Ah battery
-
MOTOR and Torque
It has a rear hub motor that is rated at 1000w with a peak of 2000w and it has 95nm of Torque. This makes for a pretty powerful eBike
-
CLIMBING ANGLE
I was not able to test this but HappyRun says the G100 can handle up to a 30° climbing angle. Seems about right to me.
-
SHIMANO 7 SPEED
It has a Shimano 7 Speed system
-
SPEED
The HappyRun G100 webpage says that its top speed is 38MPH.
I ran my own test and my top speed out of the box was around 24mph. I then contacted HappyRun and they told me that a limiter is active and how to unlock it.
To unlock that top speed: Turn the bike off then turn it back on. Within the first five seconds after powering on, squeeze the brake lever five times. This will toggle the speed limit on/off (factory default is limited).
It’s faster now but my top speed has been 34MPH not 38MPH. -
TIRES
The tires are 20” x 4” Puncture-Resistant Inflatable Tires
-
BRAKES
Front and rear hydraulic brakes
-
SUSPENSION
Full front and rear suspension
-
Payload and Rider Height
The G100 can handle up to a 400 pounds and riders between 5’ 3” to 6’ 5”
-
LIGHTS
The G100 has a front light, brake light along with front and rear turn signals.
The front light turns on with the G100 but to fully turn it on press the light button on the controller and you’ll see the light icon appear in the display. Press it again to turn it off.
The rear light works like any other brake light by squeezing either of the brake levers. Note, when the brake levers are engaged they also work as a cut off for the motor.
The turn signals are cool, you can use them as regular left and right turn signals but you can also press both of the turn signal buttons to use them as emergency signals. -
WATER PROOF RATING
The water proof rating for the G100 is IP54. An IP54 rating signifies a product is protected against limited dust ingress and water spray from any direction.
-
SEAT
The seat is non adjustable. It’s cushioned, but feels a little stiff. I think it might soften a little over time.
-
WEIGHT
The G100 weighs in at about 107 lbs
