FlekTrike Pro
The Good
Appearance
The FlekTrike Pro looks awesome and reminds me of the Munsters. If grandpa munster would have made a trike I think it would have looked like the FlekTrike Pro.
Power and Control
Top speed it 25 Mph. When in it’s default mode this eTrike feels a lot like a traditional eTrike. Unlock the frame and allow it to swing and it’s a whole other beast! This is the only eTrike I’ve felt comfortable enough to take a turn at 16 Mph without feeling like it is about to tip over.
Lights
The front light includes a parking light and in the rear there is a wired in brake light with built in turn signals.
Display
The display is bright enough for both day and night riding and shows you all the standard information while riding.
Geometry
The FlekTrike Pro sits close to the ground and has a long wheel base which gives it a lot of control and makes for a great looking ride.
The Bad
It’s big and comes shipping in a really big box. Make sure you have room for delivery and the FlekTrike Pro. Not much can be done about this so I’m not taking off any points for this. However, assembly could be a little easier. There is a lot of wiring under the trike and you have to connect both the front and rear parts of the trike together yourself.
Overall
The FlekTrike Pro is the best eTrike I’ve ridded so far. It’s a lot of fun, looks great, easy to control and very maneuverable .
Deducting one SpiderWayne because Assembly could be a little easier.
