The Mukuta 10 Plus
Unboxing the Mukuta 10 Plus E-Scooter could not be easier but once it’s out of the box just make sure to go over the entire scooter to make sure everything is tight!

The Mukuta 10 Plus Experience
Right out of the box the Mukuta Experience was a bit of a different experience. Unlike other e-vehicles I have reviewed Mukuta was the first to include a spare fenders, a spare tire, 2 inner tubes, lug caps and a full chrome plated tool kit!  This is a very welcomes accessory package.  Also, this is the first e-scooter that I’ve ever had with dual front and rear suspension springs.  The suspension felt very smooth and comfortable.  In fact, this has a double edge sword effect.  On one hand, the ride is smooth and comfortable.  On the other hand, it’s so smooth and comfortable that you may not realize how fast your going.  To be safe make sure to check your speed from time to time.  Using the single motor mode will not only be strong and fast enough for most people but it will also get your further by conserving battery power.  I could tell the first time I stood on the Mukuta 10 Plus that this e-scooter was something special.  It’s now tied for first place on my list of favorite e-scooters but more on that in a later article or video.

The Good
The Mukuta 10 Plus is fast. Single motor speed is all you need but for time traveling just switch to dual motors and you’ll glide right into another space time continuum.  Quad spring suspension makes for a really comfortable ride and the hydraulic brakes will safely bring you to a stop every time. Mukuta includes lots of useful extras like a tire, inner tubes, fenders and a very useful tool kit. It’s also a great looking scooter The yellowish green accents over the gray base color looks so much better in person than in photos and I also like the custom etching on the rocker arms too. This scooter is good for anyone that plans on street or off road riding.  The Mukuta 10 Plus can handle just about anything!

The Bad
I had one issue during my test runs with the Mukuta 10 Plus… it died on me.  However, I was partly at fault because I didn’t charge the scooter before I went out for my ride.  This did uncover a problem with the scooter.   The battery level showed a full charge which was incorrect.  The reason for this was Mukuta sent out some scooters with the wrong program setting for voltage.  The incorrect voltage is set to 52v.  Mukuta told me to check it and if mine was set to 52v to change it to 60v.  Sure enough, mine was set to the wrong voltage.  I made the necessary program change and now my battery meters displays correctly.   One important note I’d like to share is the following: Do not use dual motors if the voltage drops unto 55-56v.  If you do, you run the risk of the scooter shutting off and it won’t turn back on until you plug the charger. This is not only apply to the Mukuta 10 Plus e-scooter.  I’ve seen this happen to others as well so it’s basically a good rule to follow with dual motor e-scooters.   What I would like to see with all scooters is when the battery voltage drops below it’s recommended riding range that a warning and maybe an audio beep would sound to alert the rider to take action. This would be especially helpful with dual motor e-scooters because it would let the rider know to switch to single mother and get it charged back up ASAP.

4 out of 5 SpiderWayne’s

If not for the scooter being sent out with the wrong voltage setting (which was easily fixed) and the fact that the scooter shut down when it ran out of power while in dual mode. If it would have warned me to switch to dual mode and not just shut off I would have easily given the Mukuta 10 Plus 5 out our 5!
