Soltera by Aventon – A First Look

First Look and Pre-Order Yours Now
As of today, January 4, 2022 you can put in your order for the newest ebike line, the Soltera.  I was able to preview images and some specs for their newest family member and was impressed.  They stuck with invisible welds and tech with their full color screen and app.  The bike comes in either a single speed at $1199.00 or for $1299.00 you can get the 7 speed version.   Both come in the traditional frame and the step-through.  All are available for pre-order in black, blue, teal and salmon.

The Good
Each bike looks like candy!  Aventon has given each an awesome paint job that is sure to get attention. It has the same great full color display, for an ebike it’s light, weighing in at 41 pounds.  One improvement is the addition of dual brake lights over their previous single.

 

The Bad
I can’t say for sure because I don’t have a Soltera at this time to test, but the batter looks like it mounts upside down.  I wonder if it will stay in if you hit a bump in the road.  If I get my hands on one I’ll report back later.

 

Overall
I think it’s a great looking ebike, with some classic kept in the mix along with a new rear dual brake lght and a like-able low price tag.

Aventon’s Soltera get’s 3 out of 5 because I know I can expect a quality bike from Aventon but at this time I can only go by the images and documentation I was sent.
