Anything Special?
Out of the box the ElitePrime is a gorgeous, futuristic looking e-scooter. For suspension, there are only 2 suspension arms and both are located on the left side of the scooter. Yadea calls this a Polymer Shock Absorption Technology and I call it Smooth Riding! In fact, this is one of the smoothest riding scooters I’ve ever ridden. Everything about this scooter is very well put together and extremely comfortable. While it won’t win any races it does have a respectable top cruising speed of 18.6mph. Note: during my tests I consistently got up to 19mph. Something else I found unique is the ElitePrime has easy to use turn signals.

The Good
During their Indiegogo promotion, if you get the Yadea ElitePrime now you’ll save $150 off the asking price once their promotion is over. The ElitePrime also provides one of the smoothest rides available. As for safety, it has easy to use turn signals, a drum bake, disc brake and electronic braking. This scooter comes with a partner app available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Through the app you can lock and unlock the scooter, check total milage, see power usage, turn cruise control on and off, switch gears, sound the horn, activate senseless unlocking, pick between metric and imperial, and activate energy recovery.
The Bad
It has a respectable top speed at 18.6mph but for seasoned riders it could leave you wanting a little more.
Overall
The Yadea ElitePrime is a great looking e-scooter with a lot to offer. It’s smooth ride will help avoid fatigue and keep you riding longer. This could come in especially good for riders commuting back and forth to work or across school campuses. It also offers great security features through its partner app. Last, if you get it now you can take advantage of their low price via their Indiegogo promotion for only $1349.
