Unboxing Disappointment
The WTVA HEBE1.0 showed up in not so okay box. I immediately opened it to check for damage. While I didn’t completely take everything out because I needed to save that for the official, video unboxing, I did scan through all the broken wire ties and saw that everything looked okay. However, this gave me concern that poor boxing like this might mean trouble ahead for this bike.
It Gets Better
Once I got the entire bike out and put together I saw there was no damage to the bike and was now very impressed with the looks of this beautiful eBike!
Parts
Next I went over the parts and again was impressed. This low cost eBike features a 750w rear hub motor, a 48v battery, a rear rack with an attached rear brake light and a bright front headlight and for the finale… it has a 52″ chainring! The 52″ chainring makes for much better pedaling at high speeds.

Performance
Again, to my surprise this bike did 32mph on a small downhill slope and 28mph on flat pavement. Right out of the box this bike has plenty of speed. Note: In California, top speed for an eBike is 20mph and luckily in the display controller you can change top speed so no worries there. Still, nice to know you have more speed if you need it.
The Good
A top speed of 28mph but programmable to lower the speed to 20mph. A rear mounted rack with a built in rear brake light. Fat 20″x4″ wide tires, it’s a step thru, bright front light, it’s foldable and looks awesome. And again it has a 52″ chainring!
The Bad
Questionable boxing. Packaging this bike could be better.

I hate to ding the WTVA HEBE1.0 for poor packaging but I did because I’d hate for it to arrive damaged and this is where there is room for improvement.
