Usage
The Falcon has become both my go to for a quick ride around the neighborhood and for getting the mail. Yes, when it’s a blistering hot day (over 100 degrees) I throw a small bag over the handlebar and ride a half block away to get the mail and get back as fast as possible like a vampire that late getting back to his or her coffin.
What I’ve found out after having the Varla Falcon for 5 months

| Max Speed / 22 MPH | My riding peaked at 22 mph but mostly maintained a speed of 20-21 mph. |
| 25 Mile Range | Tested using the Max mode (Sport Mode). Found that running the Falcon at mostly max power mode I got a range of 17 miles. Note: Range will vary depending on things like terrain and weight payload. A 25 mile range can be obtainable if riding in it’s lowest power setting which will get you about 8 MPH. |

| 500w hub motor – peak power 700w with a 25a speed controller maintains optimal performance at all times | Confirmed – Out of my 17 mile range (at full power), it wasn’t until near the end of the very last mile that the Falcon optimal speed was affected. |
| Dual Shocks and Independent Suspension | The dual chocks and independent suspension work great on this this scooter. |
| Ambient Lights | The side ambient lights are a great added safety feature and looks great at the same time. |
| Electronic Brake + Disc Brake | Tested and found it does have both rear disc brakes and in the front it uses electronic braking. There is only one brake lever but when squeazed, both front and rear will safely stop the scooter. |
Two Scooters Are Better Than One
Do you ride alone or with friends? If you ride with friends, are they on budget scooters with a top speed of about 18 mph? Or, are you riding with speed demons? If you ride alone, then I would say get Falcon is good for you if you like to ride at moderate speeds. If you ride with friends that are on budget friendly scooters, again the Falcon will be great. However, a lot of budget scooters have a top speed of about 18 mph and some maybe up to 20 mph, riding the Falcon, you’ll probably be the quickest at 21-22 mph but you’ll feel more connected with the group. If you ride with speed demons then you should probably going for something like the Varla Eagle One or the Eagle One Pro. The Eagle One will top out at 40 mph while the Eagle One Pro will reach up to 45 mph! See my point? Having both a budget and a higher end, faster scooter will mean you can ride with anyone, anytime.
