Assembly
The Mooncool TK1 is not hard to assemble but there are more parts to install than your average eBike. The part that gave me the most trouble was installing the derailleur. On eBikes the derailleur is usually installed but I have noticed with trikes this is something you’ll have to install yourself. If you are unfamiliar with installing a derailleur, there are a lot of “How To” videos online that can help or you can take it to your local bike shop and they should be able to help you.

The Good
The Mooncool TK1 is good for people that are new to riding bikes. New riders won’t have to worry about learning how to balance and should be able to ride right away. This trike also has an adjustable rear seat backrest that I have not seen on other trikes. There are 6 color choices and the fat tires give it a bold beefy look.
The Bad
While new riders will find the Mooncool TK1 easy to ride, they will also find that they will need to slow down when taking a turn. The trike comes with a warning sticker on the handlebar that warns against taking turns faster that 15km (about 9mph). Installation might be a little challenging for some but nothing a local bike store can’t remedy for you.
Overall
The Mooncool TK1 E-Trike with Fat Tires is a great looking trike with up to 6 colors to choose from. The TK1 comes with a front and rear basket which makes it a great trike for shopping or maybe taking BBQ supplies and bluetooth speaker to the park and have a party. The TK1 is a good trike but can be challenging to assemble and take your turns slowly so you don’t tip the trike over.
