    The Scoria is a step-through fat tire eBike

  • Colors

    The Mokwheel Scoria 2.0 Comes In 4 Colors: Dark Blue, Olive Green, Red and White

  • Assembly

    Assembly level is easy.

  • Battery and Ride Range

    Battery: It has a 48v 19.6Ah, with UL Safety Standards, and it an IPX7 Waterproof rating. The X means it’s not rated for dust resistance but the 7 indicates it’s water resistant for rain, and accidental submersion for about up to about 3 feet. It also comes with a 48v 3A charger.

    Range: It has a range of about 60 to 80 miles

  • Motor | Speed Class | Torque

    Power: It has a 750w rear hub motor that peaks at 1100W
    Class: Class 2 by default that tops out at 20Mph. However if you stop throttling and keep pedaling in mode 5 it can get up to 28Mph.
    Top Speed (Default Throttle Only): 20 Mph
    Top Speed (Pedal Only): up to 28Mph

  • Sensor Type

    Cadence - This eBike is equipped with both a torque and cadence sensor. The cadence sensor acts as a basic on/off switch for the motor based on pedal movement, while the torque sensor dynamically adjusts the motor's power output in real time according to the force applied by the rider. This dual-sensor combination results in a smoother, more natural-feeling assist that closely mimics traditional cycling, which many riders prefer over cadence-only systems.

    5 pedal assist modes

  • Tires

    he tires are 20” x 4.0” fat tires and are puncture resistant.

  • Brakes

    It’s equipped with front and rear Tektro (TDK171) hydraulic disk brakes with 180mm rotors. For safety the brake levers will also cut off the power when engaged.

  • Suspension

    It has an adjustable front fork with 100mm of travel.

  • Lights

    Front Lights: Large, good bright light
    Rear Light: The rear brake light is wired into the bike

  • Display

    The color LED display is works well for both day and night rides and is detachable. The detachable display is great for discouraging would be thieves from taking your bike. Without the display attached the bike won’t start ups rendering all of its electronics unusable. Of course they could still ride off with it as a non-powered bike so make sure to chain it up when leaving it out in a public place.

The Good

Appearance
The Mokwheel Scoria 2.0 has a great eye-catching paint job. It’s low to the ground which adds a sleek look to it. 

Power
The Scoria 2.0 has a 750w rear hub motor that peaks at 1100w. Plus it has 92Nm of torque so hills won’t be a problem. 

Speed Class
It’s a class 2 eBike which tops out at 20Mph. However, let go of the throttle and keep pedaling and you can get up to 28Mph. 

Lights
The Scoria has both front and rear lights.  The front light is nice and bright while the rear brake light works well and is wired in so you don’t have to worry about charging it. 

Display
It has a very good display that is bright enough for both day and night riding.
