The Asphalt by Mokwheel is a Commuters Dream!
If you’re looking to e-bikes for commuting, look no further, the Mokwheel Asphalt is here. With high gas prices and wanting to lower your carbon footprint, e-bikes are definitely the way to go.
Let’s Talk About It
The first bike I reviewed from Mokwheel was the Basalt and right out of the box I fell in love with that all terrain electric bike, and my feelings with the Asphalt are no different. Mokweel puts a lot of work in smoothing out most of the weld marks on their bikes. Also, the paint job on both of the bikes from Mokwheel is amazingly beautiful. The Asphalt is rocking a 500w brushless rear motor that is plenty for most riders. With a 60 mile range, you won’t have to worry about running out of power with this amazing e-bike.

The Good
Mokwheel is consistently putting out high quality electric bikes so you know you’re getting a great product. The Asphalt is getting extra attention to detail when it comes to a smooth, bright, reflective paint job. Lot’s of great performance via a powerful motor and front suspension. The Asphalt has a 60 mile range ( *range will vary depending on how you ride and the weight load) and I love how the brake lights are built into the body of the bike. Last, Mokwheel gave the Asphalt a torque sensor which I personally like more than bikes with a cadence sensor. Because it has a torque sensor you will experience less ghost pedaling.
The Bad
Nothing.
Overall
I would recommend the Asphalt to anyone looking for a great bike for commuting and some exercising. One important note, keep in mind that if you are looking into electric bikes because maybe you have a bad hip or knees or other medical condition, you might be better off checking out a bike with a cadence sensor.
