KBO Ranger – Let’s Checkout The KBO Ranger Cargo E-Bike
The KBO Ranger, A Different Kind Of E-Bike
With an average bike or e-bike, you get on and ride. But what if you need to carry a few things with you… a back pack, might work. But what if you need to carry a lot of things with you? This is where the KBO Ranger Cargo E-Bike comes in! The Ranger is equiped with a rear rack and two running boards for you to load up and head out.
Let’s Spec It Out

- The bike weight is 77 lbs
- It has a Shimano 7 speed derailleur
- Dual 180mm mechanical brakes
- Center stand

- Hub Motor – 750w Rear Hub Brushless Geared Motor

Do I Need A Cargo Bike?
Let’s think about this.
A few examples of why you might need or just want this bike.
- You deliver things using a bike
- Take it camping and haul around supplies and refreshments
- Emergency bike transportation for supplies
- Go to the beach and be the hero by hauling snacks, towels, etc.
- Save gas! Use it to go to the market and load groceries on it.
Those are just a few examples, as I’m sure there are many more uses for a cargo bike.
Two Bikes In One
Keep in mind that this bike has a 750w brushless geared motor giving it a lot of power. You don’t have to use it just as a cargo bike. This is a great bike for just getting out and have a fun day riding. If space is a concern, you can easily remove the running boards and just put them back on when you need them.

The Good
The KBO Ranger is a great e-bike and can hold more than an average bike or e-bike. It has a lot of power and the battery can manage 35-60 miles. Good stopping power and puncture resistant tires.
The Bad
Not much to say here so I’ll have to dig deep… Not a fan of weld marks in the paint. Would have been nice if the Ranger came with a phone companion app.
Two notes that are neither good or bad
KBO strictly adheres to the Class 2 E-bike speed of 20mph which is really all you need. But I have to admit, I like when manufactures give you the ability to switch the e-bike over to class 3 allowing you to reach 28mph which I know this bike has the motor to handle it. Second, the Ranger does not have front or rear suspension. However, the bike still felt smooth and as primarily a street bike I don’t think you’ll need or miss it.
SpiderWayne Rating – Great bike for hauling things and also just for getting out and riding.
