Wayne here, and if you’re looking for your first eBike then you’re going to want to check out this brand new eBike from KBO!

KBO has two versions of this eBike, the K1 which has a step over frame and the K2 which has a step through frame.

The K1 Step over comes in 4 colors: Blue, Green, Black and White

 

 

While the K2 also comes 4 different colors: Pink, White, Black and Blue

Assembly

The K2  is probably the easiest and quickest eBike I’ve ever put together.  Basically you just have to connect the handlebar and pedals.  For a little more detail,see the short clip of me putting the K2 together in my review video https://youtu.be/GypRSNOP8N0

• 499 Wh built-in lithium-ion battery, range up to 45 miles per charge
• 6061 Aluminum bike frame

• Rider height up to 6′ 3″
• Dual disc brakes and responsive stopping power

 

The Good

Priced low, assembly is simple and quick, it comes in four colors to choose from and decent power.  The fact that it folds up also makes it a great eBike when transporting it from one place to another.

The Bad

No integrated rear brake light.

Overall

The KBO K2 is a great little, folding eBike for someone looking for their first eBike.  It’s powerful, but not over powerful which will help to keep you safe.   Also, with its folding design you’ll have no trouble with storage or placing it in your trunk when transporting it.
